Pitching
Piggy is a power pitcher in every sense of the word. When his release point drops below three-quarters, his fastball tends to hang in the strike zone. The Houston Astros hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He's almost as effective against righthanders as he is versus lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He needs to develop a slide-step, as opponents run freely against him. Piggy never has been a good fielder. Piggy is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Piggy has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Houston Astros have been known to use Piggy as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
The Houston Astros signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Piggy like a hot potato if something better comes along.
