JamesK Polk
Second Baseman | Chicago Cubs

Hitting
Polk is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. In past seasons, Polk has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Polk uses the entire field and typically produces a couple of hitting streaks of 10 or more games during a season.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Polk doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.
