Lee Porter
Third Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
The book on Porter is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Porter always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He is easy prey for any righthander who can throw a slider off the outside corner. Porter handles lefthanders who bring the ball into his quick hands much better.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Porter doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Porter to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
