Stan Reed
Center Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
Reed never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Reed has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Stan Reed to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. It's hard to explain but Stan Reed plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Reed signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
Reed doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Reed you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Reed to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
