Mandy Romero
Catcher | Chicago White Sox

Hitting
He has a very quick bat and can adjust to a pitch's movement as well as any hitter in the game. He's still a singles hitter at heart, and knows how to shorten up and protect the plate with two strikes. Romero always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
Romero plays a near-flawless catcher, making very few errors. His arm is accurate enough. Romero doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.
