Hitting
Sanders never has been a patient hitter. Sanders always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Sanders when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Sanders doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Sanders you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
