Steve Scarsone
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Scarsone never has been a patient hitter. Scarsone always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Scarsone doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Scarsone you're not putting him in for his glove. Steve's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
If Scarsone doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
