Nick Schauer
Right Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
In past seasons, Schauer has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Schauer is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm is below average but not a major weakness. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Schauer to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
