Marcos Scutaro
Second Baseman | Toronto Blue Jays

Hitting
One of the nice things about Marcos is that he's a real clutch hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He doesn't perform well against right-handed pitching.

Baserunning & Defense
Scutaro is an above-average runner, but lacks the first-step explosiveness needed to become a basestealing threat. In the past, his critics have accused Scutaro of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
In two full big league seasons, Scutaro already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
