He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Tsuyoshi Shinjo to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Shinjo doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
In four full big league seasons, Shinjo already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
