He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to right-center.

Baserunning & Defense
Staub isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.
