Doug Strange
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Strange never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Strange hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Strange you're not putting him in for his glove. Doug's arm leaves a little to be a desired. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.

2010 Outlook
Strange flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
