Hitting
The book on Ulisney is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Ulisney always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.
Baserunning & Defense
He's an adequate centerfielders who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough. Ulisney doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
2010 Outlook
What The St. Louis Cardinals was thinking when they signed Ulisney to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks. Ulisney isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors. It's time for Pepe to investigate other career options, like coaching highschool ball.
