Valdes always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Don't be surprised if The Toronto Blue Jays's manager sits Valdes when you throw your ace lefty. For some reason, he just can't figure out the southpaw.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Valdes isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
