Waitt always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He uses the entire field and has gap power.

Baserunning & Defense
Waitt isn't a fluid left fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.

2010 Outlook
Waitt performance in AAA is making it difficult for the St. Louis Cardinals to ignore him much longer. Expect his name to be on the September call-up list.
