George Washington
Right Fielder | Houston Astros

Hitting
Washington was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
You might not expect it, but Washington is a pretty good fielder too. His arm is accurate enough. Washington is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
In three full big league seasons, Washington already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
