Al Watson
Left Fielder | St. Louis Cardinals

Hitting
Watson seems to become especially focused in big situations. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Watson isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
The St. Louis Cardinals signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Watson like a hot potato if something better comes along.
