Whitehouse never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Whitehouse has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Gary Whitehouse to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Whitehouse isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Whitehouse to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
