Donnie Wight
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Wight always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Wight isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Wight to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
