Eddie Williams
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Williams never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Williams hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Eddie Williams to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
Williams flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
