Pat Winegarner
Left Fielder | Minnesota Horde

Hitting
Winegarner has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. Winegarner always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Winegarner uses the entire field and typically produces a couple of hitting streaks of 10 or more games during a season.

Baserunning & Defense
Winegarner doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
In three full big league seasons, Winegarner already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
