Pitching
Witt has to keep the ball down, especially against lefties, or he gets hit hard and often. Steals sometimes unnerve Witt, who isn't blessed with extraordinary self-confidence. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. If you're going in to face Witt, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. Dating back to his days in the minors, Witt has been more effective against righthanders than lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. He doesn't hold runners very close, which gives his catcher a bit of a workout. Witt is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Witt has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Witt as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
If Witt doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors. I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
