He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Wright never has been a patient hitter. Wright always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Wright you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Wright isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Wright to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
