Wynn has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Randy Wynn has made a career of putting the ball to the opposite field. That's rare in this day and age.

Baserunning & Defense
Wynn is one of the fastest players in the game and the majority of his stolen bases are the result of his pure speed. He also can take an extra base as well as anyone. He's an adequate centerfielders who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
The Chicago White Sox were smart, they locked Wynn up to a long term contract. Wynn has impressed at the A-ball level. Look for the Chicago White Sox to give him a shot in Double or Triple A before the year is up.
