| STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES |
Strengths: Third base is covered by Ron Coomer. With guys like McShane, Dye and Peterson, the Seattle Mariners have one of the best outfields in baseball. The Seattle have a solid rotation all the way through. They have a solid bullpen, with no discernable weakspots. Weaknesses: Seattle's looking to replace their older catcher with a little youth. Management would like to find someone to play second baseman for them. Quite frankly, the Mariners don't have any true middle relievers, closers or setup men, so one has to imagine that's high on their wishlist. |
